Story
Hart Lovelace is a secretary with too much ambition.
Bitter from not achieving the life he wanted, he curses every analyst, banker, and fresh-faced new hire to walk through the firm's doors. His boss is no good and neither is anyone else. No matter how hard he tries, he can't get anywhere.
Evil Batlet—full name Eveline, but call him Evil—is a financial associate. Smug, satisfied, and utterly secure in himself, he lives like Hart wishes he could. Evil has a bright future, with a ladder to climb and promotions to look forward to.
So when Evil approaches him with a thinly veiled proposition, Hart sees his chance.
To pull himself up or drag Evil down, they'll find out.

I guess it's okay? I felt like Evil's character wasn't fully fleshed out; the early-game version of him and the late-game version feel so different. I don't understand why he was obsessed with his Boss either, maybe it was only added for the shock factor. Overall, I felt like it could have gone in a good direction with a hate/love dynamic but it only ended up being a hate/sexual relationship that's a bit lackluster.
Thank you for the feedback; I'm sorry you didn't fully enjoy the game, but I'm glad you took the time to play to the end regardless! I actually set out to write a hate/sexual relationship, although it certainly has potential to become hate/love in the future.
Really solid and worthwhile read! Hart is soooo cute and fucked up in the head (positive) <3 Very worthwhile read even as someone who was not familiar with the characters in any other setting :D
Thank you! You're so right about Hart... He just tries so hard </3
I was kindly allowed to play the beta prior to release, and as always find myself impressed with my dear friend Arbit's writing! The characterization between main characters Hart and Evil keep your opinions shifting as you continue reading on how to decide who is the worse of the two, and who is really in control of the unstable dynamic between the two of them.
I've played Evil's other games and loved each one for their story and characters and this game was no exception. Evil is such an intricate and interesting character I keep wanting to know more about him (and can't wait for any other games he might be starring in the future!) This is the first time i've seen Hart too and I loved him as a protagonist, the fact that he's so ruthless despite his soft appearance really makes him stand out. I got emotionally invested in all three games and it's honestly so hard for me to find games that get me this hooked that this are real diamonds for me to find. I wonder though is this some kind of au? Gorgoeus art as always!
Thank you so much for your comment! I was really happy to hear you enjoyed the Evil games so far, and him as a character. Hart too—looks sure can be deceiving 🙈 Hart and Evil… they’re perfect for each other…
Yes, this is a separate universe from the crime story with Evil and Zoomer (who is Zimmerman here). I got way too invested in an AU that became its own thing! Hopefully this won’t be the last you’ll see of them, since I'd love to keep creating their stories.
